Common questions about this service
Does Microsoft back up our M365 data?
Not really. Microsoft's SLA covers availability of the service, not your data integrity. Deleted items past retention are gone forever, including mail rules an attacker creates, files an employee deletes by mistake, or a ransomware-encrypted mailbox.
What does RTO and RPO mean?
Recovery Point Objective = how much data you can afford to lose between backups (we aim for ≤1 hour). Recovery Time Objective = how fast you need to be back up (varies by client, typically 2–4 hours for critical systems).
What is an air-gapped backup?
A backup copy that's physically disconnected from your network. Untouchable by hackers because there's literally no network path to it. We use this for high-risk environments.
