The Challenge
An 8-person architectural practice was struggling with remote working. Their Revit and AutoCAD files were too large for traditional VPN access, and the home broadband of most staff couldn't handle syncing full project folders. Collaboration had become painful, with version conflicts and frustrated architects.
The Fresh Tech Solution
We implemented SharePoint with Files On-Demand, meaning architects only download files they're actively working on. For the largest Revit projects, we set up a properly specified Azure Virtual Desktop that gives the same performance from home as in the office. Project handovers now happen in Teams with shared screens rather than email chains.
